What an amazing opportunity presented itself to us on day one, with this quality Tassort x Flying Flywheel colt, purchased from the 2025 Inglis Classic Sale.
Both Stuart Kendrick ( Sunshine Coast trainer) and myself loved him, and we have a very close association with the colt’s family. His dam, Flying Flywheel, is out of a mare named Splendid Eagle, who is a sister to our very own Crafty Eagle, and a sister to a mare that Stuart trained named Bulloo. Both of these horses are winners from 1200-1600 and this colt is very much in the same mould as them.
When you go further down his page, you’ll also see that he is related to Eagle Way, a Group 1 Derby winner with prize money of over $4M.
Tassort is now so popular with breeders due to the success of his progeny on track (Manaal, Grp.1 Sires Produce Stakes, Grp.2 Sweet Embrace & Furious, Grp.3 Gimcrack), that his service fees have increased from $5k to $38.5K in one year!
He’s qualified for QTIS, arguably the best racing bonus scheme in Australia, and also BOBS, so we get the best chance to pick up bonus cash on both sides of the border!
