Both Chris Anderson (trainer) and myself liked him a lot, so much so that we hatched a plan on getting him 2 months ago when Chris inspected him at Eureka Farm. This colts dam, Defiant Dame (More Than Ready), was a Listed winner of the Gimcrack Stakes at 2, is a sister to Group winner Hidden Warrior, and has had 6 foals to race for 4 winners! He’s strong, powerful with plenty of substance, nice deep girth, good bone and hip with a great temperament! #vardyvalue at it’s best!

By a Champion (Lonhro) out of a Champion (Guelph). Every time he won or placed was at Group or Listed level, including wins in the Grp.3 Black Opal Stakes and the Grp.2 Danehill Stakes.
Champion Queensland First Season Sire in 2022/23 and second to Justify 1st Season Sires 2022/23. Group/Listed winning progeny include Cifrado, (Grp 2 Sires Produce & Grp.3 Vo Rogue Stakes) and Encoder, Grp.3 Grand Prix Stakes.
THE DAM: DEFIANT DAME (More Than Ready)
Showed the goods as an early sprinter, winning the Listed Gimcrack Stakes before being retired. She’s a half-sister to great sprinter, Hidden Warrior, who was a Grp.3 winner and placed in multiple Listed races.
Defiant Dame has gone on to be a great success at stud, having had 6 foals to race for 4 winners, including prolific winning sprinters Defiant Spirit, Defiant Boom, Grand Cross and My Girl Rocks.
