A CAPTIVANT COLT WITH RIDICULOUSLY GOOD LOOKS!
Our first purchase of the new year is this gorgeous near black colt by first-season sire Captivant.
Captivant, a Group 1 winning son of champion sprinter Capitalist, was a brilliant sprinter/miler as a 2 & 3 year-old, with his career defining moment coming when victorious in the Group 1 1600m ATC Champagne Stakes. He was consistently racing in Group company and was beaten only half-a-length in the Stallion making Caulfield Guineas, by out and out Champion, Anamoe.
The mare, Glamour Gal (Foxwedge), is a mare that can certainly produce winners. She’s had 2 foals to race for 2 winners, one of those being Glamour Tycoon, herself a Listed winning sprinter!
The colt will be handled by champion trainer, Bjorn Baker. Bjorn loves this colt, and let’s be honest, is there a trainer at the moment who is in better form?
